"I will start of by saying that I almost never answer these surveys. But, I wanted to point out to the organizers of the meeting and Keystone Symposia organization how valuable the Biology of Hypoxia Meeting was. I am a microbiologist studying the effects of oxygen on pathogenesis. I can unequivocally state that the Biology of Hypoxia meeting was the single most important conference that I have ever attended. It helped me develop a set of research goals that now direct my lab's research. I do not think I would have developed these goals without hearing about the major concepts about the role of oxygen in biological processes.
