Ski Area Notes: Whistler Blackcomb ski areas are situated side-by-side making it easy to explore both terrains. Official opening date for both Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains is November 26, 2009. The closing date for Whistler and the Peak 2 Peak Gondola is April 18, 2010 but Blackcomb will continue to run. The Whistler Village, which contains restaurants, shops, grocery/markets, pharmacy and other amenities, is attached to the lift area by a well-maintained walkway.

Social Hour is provided to give conferees an opportunity to socialize, have a light snack and participate in the poster session. Limited seating is available.
