About Keystone Resort
| General Information |
Keystone Resort, only 90 minutes from Denver International Airport, is a year round comprehensive resort spanning seven miles along the Snake River and nestled in the White River National Forest. Keystone offers extensive experiences for conferees and their families and guests, including over 3,000 acres for skiing and riding, tubing hill, Nordic Center for snow shoeing, cross country and skate skiing, a 5 acre lake for ice skating, and horse drawn sleigh rides. Keystone Lodge has a renovated spa with ten treatment rooms, relaxation room, men's and ladies spa locker rooms. There are numerous heated swimming pools and hot tubs for relaxing. Choose from over twenty five restaurants for casual and fine dining; and two of the fine dining restaurants are AAA Four Diamond and Zagat rated. A complimentary intra-resort shuttle provides access to all attractions and activities.

Attendees with Special Needs
- Tip #1: Be aware that this is a high altitude resort. Visit www.americanheart.org, search for altitude, and research recommendations on how to alleviate high-altitude sickness.
- Tip #2: Keystone Resort accommodations are located various distances from the conference center. Some locations require use of the free resort shuttle, while others are within walking distance. Outdoor clothing is highly suggested. Distances lodging areas to the convention center are:
Keystone Lodge - .25 miles Inn at Keystone - 1.25 miles Slopeside Studios - 2 miles Gateway Mountain Lodge - 1.75 miles Conference Village - .25 miles Forest - .75 miles Evergreen - .5 miles Soda Springs - .75 miles
- Tip #3: Spouses are able to receive full day discount lift tickets by purchasing lift tickets with the attending participant.

- Conference Center Notes: The Conference Center is separate from the guest rooms at Keystone Resort. Use of the free resort shuttle or walking outside will be necessary. Cloths and shoes appropriate to winter conditions are necessary.

Food/Dining Notes: The food included will be: buffet breakfast (each day of the meeting except departure day) coffee breaks, and social hour with light snacks during poster sessions. However the food offered varies site by site. Menus for daily food offered will be posted as well as menus for the area. Social Hour is provided to give conferees an opportunity to socialize, have a light snack and participate in the poster session. Limited seating is available.

WEATHER NOTE:
Even if you are NOT participating in outdoor activities we suggest you bring clothes appropriate for winter weather temperatures.
The meetings are "resort casual" in dress (khakis, jeans, casual shirts, sweaters). Clothes that can be layered for outdoor/indoor environment will work best.
