Travel and Transportation Information

 Travel Reminders: Due to the constantly changing nature of travel, we urge people to research their own travel requirements, including Passport and Visa requirements, documentation for re-entry into country of residence, and any other identification needed, and allow sufficient time in advance of the meeting for processing of such documentation.

Be sure to confirm air and hotel arrangements at least 24 hours in advance of departure. As a reminder, never leave your wallet and passport unattended while traveling, and have xerox copies of all identification and credit cards in case of theft of originals.

 Airport Notes: Bozeman Gallatin Field Airport is one hour from Big Sky Resort, see "Ground Transportation" for directions or shuttle information.

 Ground Transportation: For transportation from the Bozeman Gallatin Field Airport to the Big Sky Resort, Karst Stage is offering a 15% discount on all regularly scheduled shuttles. The discount will be deducted from your rate at the time you make your reservation. To qualify, reservations must be booked online a minimum of 48 hours in advance by visiting www.karststage.com. Please select Keystone in the conference box of the reservation form to obtain the discounted rate. All online reservations are confirmed by email. It is recommended that you read the important information in your confirmation letter and take a copy with you when you travel. Cancellation policy: With 48 or more hours notice, there is no cancellation fee. Inside 48 hours no refunds or credits unless you are unable to use the shuttle due to flight delay or cancellation (you must notify Karst Stage in a timely manner). Please check-in at their counter at the end of baggage claim right by the restrooms, immediately upon arrival (before you claim your luggage).

 Driving Directions: Allow 1 hour and fifteen minutes for driving from Bozeman Airport. Exit Gallatin Field by making a right turn onto Hwy. 10 (frontage road). Drive 1.4 miles (2.4 km) west through the small town of Belgrade. Turn left onto Hwy. 291. This road passes over Interstate 90 and becomes Hwy. 85 and then Hwy. 191. Once over I-90, proceed south 7 miles (11 km), go straight through the four-way traffic signal on Hwy. 191. Continue south on Hwy. 191 for 39 miles (63 km). Turn right at the MT Hwy. 64 (yellow blinking light) and go west 9 miles (14 km) to the Mountain Village. Turn left at the "Welcome to Big Sky Mountain Village" sign, then right at the next small intersection. Follow the road up to the first high-rise seven-story complex, which is the reception for the Huntley Lodge, Shoshone Condominium Hotel, Big Sky Central Reservations and Yellowstone Conference Center. If you are staying in Summit, Big Horn or Arrowhead, check in at the Summit, the second tall structure.

 Getting Around the Conference Area:

  • Conference Center Notes: The Conference Center is located within the same complex as the Huntley Lodge and Shoshone Condominiums. The Summit Lodge is located a short distance away across a shoveled walkway. Remember to include clothing and shoes suitable to winter weather.

  • Shuttle Information: A free skier shuttle, Skyline Bus, circulates the Meadow, Mountain and Canyon areas approximately every 30 minutes. Visit www.skylinebus.com for schedule and more details. For further exploration of the surrounding area and West Yellowstone National Park a rental car in recommended.
