 Travel Reminders: Due to the constantly changing nature of travel, we urge people to research their own travel requirements, including Passport and Visa requirements, documentation for re-entry into country of residence, and any other identification needed, and allow sufficient time in advance of the meeting for processing of such documentation.

Be sure to confirm air and hotel arrangements at least 24 hours in advance of departure. As a reminder, never leave your wallet and passport unattended while traveling, and have xerox copies of all identification and credit cards in case of theft of originals.

 Ground Transportation: For transportation from the Reno/Tahoe International Airport to Granlibakken, call Granlibakken at 800-543-3221 (In US & Canada) or 530-583-4242; Fax: 530-583-7641. Cost is $40/person, each way with a minimum of 2 people per trip (if only one person, the cost is $80 one way). Pricing is subject to change. Granlibakken requires 7 days advance notice and all reservations must be prepaid. Cancellations received less than 24 hours prior to arrival or departure are non-refundable. Airport pickup service requires Granlibakken be notified of the airline, flight number and arrival time in advance.

 Driving Directions: Allow 1 hour (40 miles or 64 km) for driving from the Reno/Tahoe International Airport. Take Highway 395 North exit from the airport, then exit to Interstate 80 West. From Interstate 80 take Highway 89 South from Truckee to the "Y" in Tahoe City. Follow Highway 89 south for 1/2 mile (0.8 km) to Granlibakken Road. Turn right and continue for 3/4 of a mile (1.2 km) to the main lodge and registration.
