| General Information/Weather |
Snowbird is located in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah. The Cliff Lodge offers ski-in/ski-out access, while condominiums located in The Lodge at Snowbird and The Inn are 100 meters from the lifts and Cliff Lodge. Meetings will be held at The Cliff Lodge. Each lodge has a heated pool and saunas. Transportation around the resort is free upon your request. Snowbird offers skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing as well as many restaurants, shops and boutiques and a 28,000 square-foot health and beauty spa, which is available for a nominal fee. Cross-country skiing is available within 1 mile (1.6 meters) of Snowbird. Rental cars can be arranged at Snowbird for further exploration of the area.
· Tip #1: Reserve guest rooms early. Rooms in the same building (Cliff Lodge) as the conference sell out quickly. If you are staying at a lodge other than the Cliff Lodge, you will need to take a shuttle or walk across a ski hill. Outdoor clothing and shoes with tread is highly suggested. · Tip #2: Spouses are able to receive full day discount lift tickets by purchasing lift tickets with the attending participant. · Tip #3: Snowbird is a non-smoking resort. (Indoors only - Smoking allowed outdoors) · Tip #4: When traveling to the United States be sure to contact your Embassy for current Entry Requirements. To locate an Embassy near you visit http://embassyinformation.com. For USA Visa information visit http://travel.state.gov/visa/visa_1750.html.
Food/Dining Notes: The food included will be: buffet breakfast (each day of the meeting except departure day) coffee breaks, and social hour with light snacks during poster sessions. However the food offered varies meeting site by meeting site. Menus for daily food offered will be posted as well as menus for the area.
Social Hour is provided to give conferees an opportunity to socialize, have a light snack and participate in the poster session. Limited seating is available.

WEATHER NOTE:
Even if you are NOT participating in outdoor activities we suggest you bring clothes appropriate for local weather temperatures.
The meetings are "resort casual" in dress (khakis, jeans, casual shirts, sweaters). Clothes that can be layered for outdoor/indoor environment will work best.
