June 2012Keystone Symposia Fellows attend SAB meeting, Fellows Circle and provide presentations at the SAB plenary session. Certificates awarded.
June 2012Dr. Laina King attends a required NIH MARC T-36 meeting for PIs in San Antonio, TX.
May 2012Keystone Symposia held teleconference with Harvard University to plan Early Career Scientist Focus Groups at four Keystone Symposia meetings during FY2013. Participating in the call were Dr. Liza Cariaga-Lo (Assistant Provost), Dr. Sheila Thomas (Assistant Dean for Diversity, Graduate School of Arts and Sciences), Dr. Greg Llacer (Director of Undergraduate Research) of Harvard University and Dr. Laina King, Dr. David Woodland, Linda Hrycaj and Jeannie Dalrymple of Keystone Symposia.
May 2012Presentations were made by Dr. Laina King to administrators, faculty researchers, graduate students and postdocs on opportunities available at Keystone Symposia at Howard University School of Medicine, Georgetown University and Johns Hopkins University.

March 2012Director, DLSP invited to present at UT-Knoxville Symposium - an outcome of SACNAS participation by Keystone Symposia.
March 2012Start of MARC T36 program year 3 (of 5 years). Application process opens for second year of Early Career Investigator Travel Award program for Assistant Professors and scientists from industry from underrepresented backgrounds.
March 2012Keystone Symposia Scholars Program students at UNM-Taos attend "Nuclear Events in Plant Gene Expression and Signaling" at the Sagebrush Inn and Conference Center in Taos, NM, interacting with meeting organizers and other attendees.
February 2012The second of 4 health disparities workshops is held at a KS meeting in Santa Fe. The workshops are supported by Novartis NIBR.
January 2012KS Scholars Program at UNM Taos supported by Novartis holds community lecture in Taos. Scholars attend KS meetings in Santa Fe and meet with KS meeting organizers.
January 2012KS Fellows participate in SAB meetings and are embedded in topic subcommittees.
