Please be advised that some meeting participants have received calls and emails from a number of different housing services,
including "Exhibitors Housing Services," “Expo Housing Services,” "Global Housing," etc. THESE COMPANIES ARE NOT AFFILIATED
WITH KEYSTONE SYMPOSIA and are not authorized by Keystone Symposia to contact you. These companies may tell you that the meeting
is filling, without any actual knowledge to that effect, and pressure you into giving them your credit card number to make a
lodging reservation with them.
We highly recommend that you not make a reservation with these companies or any other housing service! These companies'
representations to participants have been misleading. Please report any calls or correspondence you might have received to
Keystone Symposia and book only through lodging links in your Keystone Symposia account, an established travel agency
or directly with the hotel(s) listed on our website.
Whistler Resort is located north of Vancouver and nestled amidst the spectacular Coast Mountains of British Columbia. Recreational activities include alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, and many other winter adventures at both Whistler and Blackcomb. There are fitness centers, world-class spas, many superb dining options, and excellent shopping options. Whistler is a great destination for families, as it offers many entertainment and leisure options. Keystone Symposia conferences will be held at the Whistler Conference Centre.
Tip #1:
For helpful tips on what to expect during your season of travel, check out Tourism Whistler
Tip #2:
Whistler Conference Center is within one mile of all suggested hotels. Most hotels provide a shuttle, but the village connecting the Conference Center and the hotels is maintained and lined with shops and restaurants. Some parking is available around the Conference Center; fees may apply.
The WAVE (Whistler and Valley Express) operates regular bus trips to all of Whistler’s neighborhoods for a small fee. Buses leave from the Village bus loop. There is also a free Village Shuttle with stops in Whistler Village, Village North, Upper Village and the Benchlands. Look for more information when you check in at the meeting. Click here for Whistler Transit System link.
The food included will be:
a buffet breakfast each day of the meeting except departure day
coffee breaks
Social Hour with light snacks during poster sessions
The food offered varies by site. Menus of the daily food offered, as well as menus for area restaurants, when available, will be posted on-site. Social Hour is provided in order to give attendees an opportunity to socialize, enjoy a light snack and participate in the poster session. Limited seating is available.
If you have dietary restrictions, please click on the "Attendees With Special Needs" tab above for more information.
The meetings are "resort casual" in dress (khakis, jeans, casual shirts, sweaters). Even if you are not participating in outdoor activities, we suggest you bring clothes appropriate for local weather temperatures. Clothes that can be layered, for use both indoors and outdoors, will work best.
March temperatures in Whistler typically range between 35-50 degrees Fahrenheit.
