Snowbird Resort is surrounded by beautiful mountains but Salt Lake is 20 minutes away by car and only about 40 minutes to downtown. Food options are concentrated within walking distance. A good suggestion is to purchase some snacks to keep in your room during your stay. Most rooms have a mini fridge and coffee maker. The Cliff Lodge offers 2 breakfast restaurants, 1 for lunch and 2 for dinner. The Snowbird Center offers additional options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Snowbird Center can be accessed by either a free shuttle or a short walk across a groomed snowfield. Check General Gritts' Market and Deli for additional options and other resort eateries. It also offers a liquor store for bottles of wine and spirits.
