Seals at the Children’s Pool – enjoy watching a local colony of seals bask and play on the sand at the historic Children’s Pool in downtown La Jolla.

La Jolla Cove Kayaking and Snorkeling – Explore the sea cliffs, caves and kelp beds via kayak, or embark on a journey exploring the waters of La Jolla’s Ecological Reserve while marveling at the stunning reefs and abundant underwater wildlife.

Surf Lessons – La Jolla is the perfect venue for learning the basic fundamentals of surfing as well as brushing up on the skills you may already have. Lessons are available by the 1½ hour and 2 hours and take place along a quiet section of La Jolla Shores Beach, one of the best spots in San Diego for beginner surfers.

Torrey Pines Glider Port - Try your hand at a tandem flight or simply enjoy the beauty of flying as hang gliders, paragliders, scale models and sailplanes soar over the bluffs overlooking Blacks Beach.

Also located near the Estancia there is hot air ballooning, sailing excursions, kite surfing lessons, tours of the harbor, gondola serenades, whale watching and much more.
