Sightseeing Walking distance Ponte Vecchio is the oldest bridge in Florence. The bridge is lined with jewelry shops and has great views over the river.

It is hard to find a picture of Florence that doesn't include the famous cathedral, the Duomo. Admission to The Duomo is free but can be very busy. Plan ahead or consider paying for a tour to avoid lines and get access to special areas.
