Meetings at This Location

The Fairmont Banff Springs was designed and built in 1888 with a style reminiscent of a stately 19th century Scottish baronial castle. Set in the heart of the spectacular Canadian Rocky Mountains, Banff Springs has easy access to Johnston Canyon, Banff Upper Hot Springs and many other natural wonders. Services and amenities available at the hotel include health club/European-style Spa (charges apply), two pools, whirlpool, bowling center, shops and boutiques, grocery store, multilingual staff, Special Needs accommodations (limited), and childcare (with advanced booking - charges apply). Complimentary shuttles to the ski areas are provided with full-day lift ticket purchase. There is easy access to winter hiking, as well as to great international restaurants and shopping.

Parking Information:

Self-parking at Fairmont Banff Springs is available for $25.00 per day; valet parking is available for $39.00 per day.

For travel between Fairmont Banff Springs and downtown, several options are available. Taxis are readily available at the hotel. Also, there is the city ROAM bus. For bus schedule information please click here. You may walk from the hotel to the downtown area, on either the sidewalk or the nature trail, in approximately 15-20 minutes. For more information, inquire with the Concierge.


The food included will be:
  • a buffet breakfast each day of the meeting except departure day
  • coffee breaks
  • Social Hour with light snacks during poster sessions
The food offered varies by site. Menus of the daily food offered, as well as menus for area restaurants, when available, will be posted on-site. Social Hour is provided in order to give attendees an opportunity to socialize, enjoy a light snack and participate in the poster session. Limited seating is available.

Clothing Note:

The meetings are "resort casual" in dress (khakis, jeans, casual shirts, sweaters). Even if you are not participating in outdoor activities, we suggest you bring clothes appropriate for local weather temperatures. Clothes that can be layered, for use both indoors and outdoors, will work best.

February and March temperatures in Banff typically range between 35-45 degrees Fahrenheit.
