Meetings at This Location

The Fairmont Chateau Whistler is nestled at the base of two world-class ski mountains: Blackcomb and Whistler. In addition to alpine skiing, the resort offers cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and other winter adventures. Fairmont Chateau Whistler has a complimentary fitness center as well as the world-class Vida Wellness Spa. The quaint village of Whistler is a relaxing 10-minute walk from the hotel and has many dining options, as well as shops for the casual browser. Whistler is a great destination for families, as it offers many options for both entertainment and relaxation.

Shuttle Information:

The WAVE (Whistler and Valley Express) operates regular bus trips to all of Whistler’s neighborhoods for a small fee. Buses leave from the Village bus loop. Complimentary shuttle service is available to all hotel guests from 7:30 am to 10:30 pm. The 19 passenger shuttle operates on a 15-20 minute loop with 3 stops in Whistler Village.


The food included will be:
  • a buffet breakfast each day of the meeting except departure day
  • coffee breaks
  • Social Hour with light snacks during poster sessions
The food offered varies by site. Menus of the daily food offered, as well as menus for area restaurants, when available, will be posted on-site. Social Hour is provided in order to give attendees an opportunity to socialize, enjoy a light snack and participate in the poster session. Limited seating is available.

Clothing Note:

The meetings are "resort casual" in dress (khakis, jeans, casual shirts, sweaters). Even if you are not participating in outdoor activities, we suggest you bring clothes appropriate for local weather temperatures. Clothes that can be layered, for use both indoors and outdoors, will work best.

March temperatures in Whistler typically range between 35-50 degrees Fahrenheit.
