Summary of Meeting:
Recent advances indicate that the innate immune system not only controls the initial phases of host immune responses to pathogens but also plays a critical role in controlling and instructing adaptive immunity. This symposium will focus on the new frontiers of research on the cells, receptors, and signal transduction pathways that mediate innate immunity and control adaptive immunity.
