Nanotechnology in Biomedicine
Organizer(s): Steve Quake and Jim R. Heath
Date: February 11 - 16, 2007
Location: Granlibakken Tahoe, Tahoe City, CA, USA
Supported by the Director's Fund
Summary of Meeting:
We are bringing together a distinguished group of scientists whose research covers a broad range of topics, including quantum dots and nanoparticles, nanoliter fluidic systems, single molecule and single cell analysis. Speakers will address a broad range of problems, from basic science to applications in medicine and the life sciences. By bringing together an interdisciplinary group from many fields, including both industry and academia, we hope to bring a new perspective to the rapidly moving frontier of nanotechnology in biomedicine.
Scholarship Deadline: October 11 2006
Discounted Abstract Deadline: October 11 2006
Abstract Deadline: November 9 2006
