Do you love to ski and are attending more than one Keystone Symposia conference this year? If so, you might want to consider purchasing a VAIL RESORT'S EPIC PASS! Sightseeing
NOT A SKIER? You can still enjoy breathtaking mountain views at nearly 13,000 feet in elevation! For only $25, Arapahoe Basin's "Lift and Lunch" deal includes a lift ride to and from Black Mountain Lodge, plus a $20 voucher toward any lunch menu item(s). Upon check-in at Keystone Resort, guests staying 2 days or more will receive "Play for Free" vouchers, which include:

All activities are dependent on resort operating schedules, weather and availability and are subject to change. One (1) Group voucher for all individuals lodging in the same room will be provided upon check-in. Ice Skating
Keystone is offering a discounted ice skate rentals at the 5 acre lake in the Lakeside Village. The lake is the largest outdoor Zamboni-maintained skating rink in North America. ARAPAHOE BASIN SKI AREA
For those of you looking for adventure, "A-Basin" is an exciting and varied terrain ski area for more experienced skier and riders. A-Basin offers discounted lift tickets to Keystone Symposia attendees and family members; just present your valid KS ID Badge at the Arapahoe Basin Ticket Office. A free shuttle to Arapahoe Basin is available every hour from the Summit Stage "River Run" stop at Keystone Resort.
2019 lesson prices ALL SEASON LONG: Great deals on lessons -- for beginners or those who want to reach expert level -- are also available right at the base of the lifts!

Equipment rentals:
KEYSTONE RESORT
Keystone Sports, where they have "Great Gear, Great Service, and Great People" offers discounts of up to 25% on ski & snowboard equipment rentals when attendees book online any time prior to rental pick up, at: www.rentskis.com/ksymposia. Rentals may be kept for multiple days and will follow the guest's lift ticket purchase, i.e.: purchase for "2 of 3 days." Guests are encouraged to book in advance because not only is it easier for those booking and paying but when you arrive to pick up your rentals, the line is shorter for those with advanced reservations, the discount is bigger, and there are more staff dedicated to these customers.
Guests without a reservation can still receive up to a 10% discount on-site when they mention they are with Keystone Symposia. Attendees should pick up rentals no later than 7pm the night prior to skiing, and free overnight storage of rental equipment is available at all three Ski Rental Shop locations.

Ski Area Notes: Free shuttles are available for transportation to and from Keystone Resort, Arapahoe Basin Ski Area and Keystone Nordic Center, from all lodging at Keystone Resort and from the Conference Center.
Snowshoeing
MOUNTAIN TOUR: There is no better way to experience the winter beauty of the Rocky Mountains than with a pair of snowshoes strapped to your feet. Mountain-top Snowshoe Trek takes you up to over 11,000 feet via enclosed gondola and then you begin your trek through spectacular wooded scenery. This is a moderate/difficult trek and the tour lasts 4 hours which includes the gondola travel time.
ECO TOUR on snowshoes - a great way to learn about the area, nature, history, mining times and life in the mountains. Also a good workout in a non-threatening way. Novices welcome. (minimum age is 7 years old). Tour is about 2.5 miles over level terrain and very educational. Tour takes approximately 2.5 hours. Add hot soup lunch buffet to this package for an additional charge.

X-country Skiing
Keystone's Nordic Center offers more than 9 miles (16 km) of groomed trails and provides access to more than 35 miles (57 kilometers) of nearby packed trails through the White River National Forest (these trails require a 3-5 mile drive to reach the trail heads). Movie Theaters
An 8 theater stadium seating movie complex is located approximately six miles northwest of Keystone Resort. You can access it via the free Summit Stage bus system. Skyline 8 Cinema

The Spa at Keystone Lodge is within walking distance of the Keystone Conference Center
POOL & FITNESS CENTER:
Guests staying in either of the Keystone Resort hotels receive complimentary access to the Spa pool and fitness center areas. For guests staying in condos along the west side of Keystone Lake, complimentary access is also provided.

Keystone Resort is spread out over five miles. There are restaurants in the villages and on the mountains; however, few restaurants are within walking distance of the Conference Center. There are two grocery stores in Keystone that have the necessities for your stay at the resort. One is across from the Hyatt Place and the other is within 5 minutes walking of the Keystone Lodge at the traffic light (Highway 6's intersection with Tennis Club Road).
