Dear #DisplayName#,
Early-Career Investigator Travel Awards (ECITAs) are now available for the upcoming conference season.
These awards support scientists from diverse backgrounds to attend a conference of their choice and present their work among field leaders while providing essential networking and career-development opportunities. Attendance at top tier scientific conferences is critical at this career stage, enabling emerging researchers to:
- Establish new collaborations
- Gain exposure for their research
- Network informally with colleagues and field leaders
- Meet with prospective postdoctoral candidates
The ECITA program is part of the Keystone Symposia Diversity in Life Science Portfolio, which aims to bolster diversity among the life-science research community. At Keystone Symposia, we are committed to supporting equity, diversity, and inclusion at our conferences, and within the life-science workforce at large, such that research and medicine include and reflect the full spectrum of perspectives, insights, and needs of a broad community.
Please help us spread the word about this valuable career-advancement opportunity for scientists from underrepresented populations via email, social media, and other communication channels.
Please note: Applications are considered on a rolling basis. However, regular abstract deadlines* apply for those wanting to be considered for a short talk or poster presentation.
Deadlines for late-February conferences are fast approaching, so don't delay!
See our conference schedule and click here to submit your application today.
