Meeting Summary

This meeting will unite researchers studying ubiquitin and ubiquitin-like proteins with those developing therapeutic applications targeting these pathways. Key topics include novel ubiquitin-dependent signaling pathways in disease, new functions of ubiquitin-like proteins, as well as mechanisms of ubiquitylation enzymes, and their exploitation for novel induced proximity therapies. We will examine how biology can inform drug discovery, and conversely how recent clinical trials reveal novel biological insights.

Held jointly with the Proximity Based Biology and Therapeutics: Targeted Protein Degradation and Beyond conference, this meeting will foster collaboration between basic and translational scientists to drive discovery and therapeutic innovation towards new induced proximity modalities that will benefit patients in decades to come. The career roundtables, meet the editor events, and drug discovery workshops that are built into the program are designed to enhance interdisciplinary communication and connections across academia and industry to accelerate translational advances in the field.

Unique Career Development Opportunities

This meeting will feature a Career Roundtable where trainees and early-career investigators will have the opportunity to interact with field leaders from across academic and industry sectors for essential career development advice and networking opportunities.
