Meeting Summary

Advances in geroscience are transforming our understanding of the biological mechanisms that drive aging, creating new opportunities to target age-related disease and extend healthspan. As populations age globally, translating these discoveries into effective interventions has become a focus.

This Keystone Symposia conference on Healthy Aging and Therapeutic Opportunities will examine emerging strategies for promoting healthy aging, with a focus on biomarkers, therapeutic development, and interventions designed to improve quality of life. Sessions will cover progress in geromedicine, biomarkers of aging, non-pharmacologic approaches, combination therapies, and innovative models and strategies for drug target identification, alongside discussions of translational and regulatory challenges. Attendees will gain insights into the progress, trends, challenges, and opportunities of how aging biology can be leveraged to develop interventions that delay disease and improve health outcomes.

By bringing together basic and applied researchers, translational investigators, industry partners, and geromedicine stakeholders, the conference supports collaboration across sectors essential for advancing aging research to discuss latest approaches, discoveries, and advancements toward translation of the most promising strategies. Its emphasis on translating geroscience into real-world impact distinguishes it as a forward-looking and highly relevant meeting.
