Meeting Summary
This symposium will explore the global health impact of large-scale, population-based prospective studies. It will highlight scientific discoveries from established longitudinal research and emphasize the importance of strategically located studies for understanding genomic, lifestyle, and environmental drivers of disease around the world.
In addition to examining genomic variability, the program will showcase advances in using data from wearables, imaging, and blood biomarkers to predict, diagnose, and monitor disease. Discussions will also address the challenges of collecting, curating, accessing and analyzing complex datasets across diverse populations, and how these efforts are being translated into better prevention, diagnosis, and treatment worldwide.
