Important Information On Abstract Submission
Abstracts are peer reviewed by meeting organizers and acceptance is based on quality of scientific content. Organizers may select some abstracts for short presentation as part of the program at the conference. Poster space is often limited, so submit early! Review the following guiding information:
- Abstracts submitted after the short talk abstract deadline will NOT be considered for a short talk.
- All abstracts submitted before the short talk deadline will be considered for both a short talk and poster presentation.
- Please submit only one abstract per meeting, per person.
- Do not submit duplicate abstracts for standalone or joint meetings.
- Underline the submitting author’s name. The submitter will be the presenter, if selected for a short talk.
- Do not include comments or image boxes in the text of the abstract.
- Be sure to use the proper title case when submitting your abstract title.
- To insert Greek and scientific symbols (alpha, beta, gamma, etc.), use the Symbol option under the Insert tab in Microsoft Word (or equivalent option in other applications).
- All abstracts submitted for a short talk, poster presentation, and scholarship are reviewed by the meeting scientific organizers. Acceptance is based on scientific content and relevance to meeting topics to appear in the program.
- Consideration for short talk, poster presentation, and scholarship requires the authors and their affiliations to be included in the text field, with a limit of 1,000 words. See complete Abstract Formatting Guidelines.
