Meeting Summary

Membrane repair has emerged as a rapidly growing field over the past five years, with close ties to autophagy, cell death, lysosome biology, and neurodegeneration. Despite growing interest and relevance, there has been no dedicated international forum focused solely on this topic.

This inaugural conference will assemble experts and newcomers to the field, to discuss the exciting insights into both the cell biology and mechanisms of membrane repair, as well as emerging disease implications in Parkinson’s Disease and many others.

This meeting will be held jointly with the Keystone Symposia conference, Autophagy: Mechanisms to Therapy to build on shared knowledge and mechanistic insights, such as ATG8/LC3 conjugation, between these related fields.
