Meeting Summary
This Keystone Vaccinology symposium brings together global leaders across immunology, clinical development, data science, and global health to re-imagine vaccine research, development and deployment leveraging the explosion in technological innovation. As unmet needs persist—from durable protection against infectious diseases to vaccines for cancer and chronic diseases—this meeting highlights breakthrough science that is reshaping the field.
The meeting aims to step outside the traditional boundaries of vaccinology and redefine how vaccines are discovered, designed, evaluated, and deployed. The programmatic themes span precision and systems vaccinology, tissue targeted immune responses, correlates of immunity and structure guided antigen design. In parallel, the conference explores new frontiers for vaccines, including cancer, allergy, and inflammatory diseases, as well as solutions for global health challenges such as malaria, tuberculosis, and equitable access to vaccines. The program will cover new methodologies for vaccine evaluation including adaptive and real-world clinical trial methodologies and novel technologies for vaccine design and delivery. Program speakers will showcase cutting edge discoveries and translational strategies that challenge conventional paradigms and accelerate impact from bench to population.
A core strength of this meeting is its cross disciplinary integration, bringing together immunologists, clinicians, computational scientists, public health experts, and industry innovators—communities that rarely converge in a single forum. The conference includes emerging investigator spotlights, and interactive panels on regulation, equity, vaccine hesitancy, and academic–industry collaboration alongside the thought-provoking plenaries. Together, these elements position the meeting as a unique, forward looking platform that will shape the next era of vaccinology.
This meeting will feature a Career Roundtable where trainees and early-career investigators will have the opportunity to interact with field leaders from across academic and industry sectors for essential career development advice and networking opportunities.
